Ingredients
- Paneer cubes – 200g
- onion – 2
- tomato 2
- ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- green chillies – 2
- white pepper powder -1/2 tsp
- red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- garam masala powder – 1 tsp
- Fresh cream – 5 tsp
- milk – 1/2 cup
- cashewnuts – 10
- raisins – 10
- ghee – 6 tsp
- salt to taste
- coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
- Heat ghee in kadai and fry the paneer cubes in medium flame until it turns light brown and keep it aside.
- Saute the dry fuits ( cashesws and raisins) in 1 tsp of ghee.
- Grind the tomato, onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies in a mixer and make a fine paste.
- Fry the paste in gehe until it turns golden brown and when the ghee starts separating, add the salt, red chilli powder, white pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and saute for 2 mts.
- Add the milk to the above gravy and bring to boil and cook the contents until the gravy becomes thick.
- Add half of the dry fruits in gravy while it is being cooked.
- Finally add the paneer cubes and fresh cream to the gravy and cook for another 5 mts.
- Garnish with the remaining dry fruits, coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with Nan or paratha or roti.
