Chicken Tikka in skewer




Ingredients
  • Chicken – 250 gms
  • Capsicum (green, yellow, red) - cut into cubical
  • Onion -1 cut into cubical shape
  • Tomati - 1 cut into cubical shape
  • Tikka Masala – 3 tsp (according to taste – for more spicy add 1 more tsp)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
  • Butter – 1 tsp (for brushing the chicken)



Method


  • Wash the boneless chicken pieces nicely with salt. (So that the smell goes off)
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with tikka  masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice for 2 hrs or 1 hr in fridge. 
  • Also marinate the capsicum, onion and tomato for 30 min.
  • After 2 hrs, in the wooden skewer, arrange the chicken pieces, capsicum, onion and tomato alternatively and keep in preheated oven of 250 C for 20 min.
  • While 10 min over, take out the chic pieces, brush with butter and keep inside the oven.
  • Serve hot.





Note:
1. Soak the wooden skewer in water atleast 10 min before keeping in oven
2. Since i want my chicken tikka to be more spicy, i added more masala. It can be adjusted according to your taste.

Prawn Tikka / Eral Tikka


Ingredients
  • Prawns / Eral - 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric powder - 1/5th tsp
  • Shan Tikka Masala - 2 tsp
  • Lemon Juice/ Vinegar - 2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Salt - to wash the prawns

Method
  • Wash the prawns well in salt.
  • In  pan, add the prawns, and start frying adding the turmeric powder.
  • The prawns starts to curl. (Do not add any water).
  • When all the prawns gets curly shape, switch off and allow to cool.
  • Now add the Tikka masala, lemon juice, Ginger Garlic paste and butter and mix well, such that, all prawns are well coated with masala.

  • Refridgerate for 1 to 2 hrs.
  • Now preheat the oven to 200 C and arrange the prawns as shown in picture and allow to cook for 15 to 20 min.

  • Remove from oven and serve hot as side dish or as snack.

Chicken Tikka




Ingredients
  • Chicken – 250 gms

  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
  • Butter/ghee – 1 tsp (for brushing the chicken)
  • Onion and tomato slices for garnishing.
Method
  • Wash the boneless chicken pieces nicely with salt. (So that the smell goes off)
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with tikka  masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice for 2 hrs or 1 hr in fridge. 
  • After 2 hrs, slightly brush the chicken pieces with butter and keep in preheated oven of 250 C for 20 min.
  • While 10 min over, take out the chic pieces, brush with butter again and keep inside the oven.
  • Garnish with Onion, tomato and serve hot.

Paneer tikka in plate



Ingredients
  • Paneer cubes - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1 sliced into big pieces
  • Tomato - 1 sliced into big pieces
  • Red bell pepper - cut into cubes
  • Green bell pepper - cut into cubes
  • Tikka masala - 5 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 5 tsp
  • Butter - 2 tsp
Method
  • Mix all the ingredients except butter in a bowl and leave it to marinate for 2 hrs outside and 1hr in fridge.
  • Spread the marinated paneer and veggies in the plate.
  • Sprinkle the butter over the veggies and paneer.
  • Toast for 20 min in the preheated oven in 200 C.
  • When is is 10 min over, remove the plate and with a wooden spatula, just mix the pieces once again.
  • Again brush the veggies and paneer with butter and keep it inside the oven.
  • When done, transfer it to a serving plate and serve hot.
