Mutter Paneer Masala

Ingredients
- Green peas (Mutter) - 1 cup
- Paneer - 1 cup
- Tomato - 2 ( grinded to paste)
- Onion - 2 (grinded to paste)
- Fennel seeds - a pinch
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon stick - 1 (crushed into small pieces)
- Cardamom - 2
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- water - 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 1.5 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves) - 1 tsp
- Salt as required
- Ghee - 1 tsp
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Make tomato and onion paste separately and keep aside.
- Fry the paneer cubes in ghee for few mts and soak in hot water for 5 mts and keep aside.
- In a kadai, add the oil, fennel, cardomom, cinnamon stick, cloves and fry for 1 mts.
- Add the onion paste and stir well adding the ginger garlic paste.
- Add the tomato paste and saute well.
- Now add the green peas, salt, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chilli powder and water and cook for another 5 mts, till the gravy becomes thick.
- Add the kasuri methi, milk and the paneer and again cook.
- Occasionally still the gravy and when the paneer are cooked garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with chappathi, roti etc.
