Potato Corn Toast Recipe - This is the latest addition to the bread toast recipes. After I started doing many bread recipes I started trying out different varieties in the toast and this one actually I bookmarked long before from here. It is simple yet tasty and me and my mom loved it to the core as we both are potato and corn fans. Also this would become a great evening snack when kids come home tired and give this kind of hot hot bread toast to them with their favorite side side, then they will really love it. Now let's go to Potato Corn Recipe immediately.

Potato Corn Toast

Potato Corn Toast

Preparation time: 5 min | Cook Time: 15 min | Serves: 2

Ingredients 
Potato - 1 big or 2 small sized
Corn - 1/2 cup
Pepper powder - 1/5 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt - as per taste
Olive oil / butter - 2 tsp

Method to prepare Potato Corn Toast

1. Pressure cook the potatoes and corn. While cooking corn, add a pinch of salt. Smash the potato nicely adding little water and add the corn, pepper powder, coriander leaves and salt.

2. Mix them nicely so that when you apply them to bread, it spreads easily. Sprinkle some oil or butter to the spread.

3. Spread the corn, potato mixture evenly on the bread slices. Keep your oven to 160 deg Celsius and toast till the sides turn to crispy and light brown in colour.

4. Take out from the oven and serve them hot with chilli sauce or tomato sauce.

Notes:
1. The potato should be gooey while applying on then read.
2. If planning to give to kids reduce the pepper and you can add some cheese too. But do not add more cheese as it many alter the taste. Add around  2 tsp of grated cheese. 
3. If you like the spicier version you can add the green chillies too.

Yes, yes, yes... I can hear what your are saying... Another bread toast recipe???😳 This time I am with a tempting Indian Toast - Rava Bread Toast. Yeah.. Now a days I have become bit lazy to prepare our Indian breakfast items in the Saturday mornings and going with the simple bread toast recipes and have bookmarked so many recipes. I am going to try those in the coming weekends always and share the recipe here.. So bear with me 😜😜. I took the basic recipe from Padhu and altered a bit for my taste and it came out good. So here is the simple Rava Bread Toast Recipe..

Preparation time: 10 min | Cook Time: 15 min | Serves: 3

Ingredients
Rava / Sooji / Semolina - 1/2 cup
Curd / yogurt - 3 tbsp
Grated carrot - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 1 chopped finely 
Onion - 1 finely chopped 
Coriander leaves - few chopped finely
Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/5 tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch (optional)
Salt - as per taste
Butter/ghee/oil - as needed for toasting 


Method 

1. Mix all the ingredients together except bread and butter. 

2. Spread the mixture on one side of the bread. Meanwhile heat the tawa or pan and add little butter. Place the normal side and toast for few minutes. 

3. Now flip to the other side and toast it adding little butter on the sides. Turn and check if they are cooked. It should turn light brown colour. 

4. Serve it with ketchup or eat as it is. In either way it will be good.

Tasty and easy Rava Bread Toast is ready. 


Notes:
1. You can avoid green chillies, if you giving to your children.
2. If you want you can add the Rava mixture on both sides and toast it. I did in only one side. 
3. You can sprinkle some chat masala before serving if you want. 
4. You can add finely chopped bell peppers, If you want.
