Potato Masala




Ingredients

  • Potato - 4
  • Mustard - a pinch
  • Urud dhall - 1/4 tsp
  • Onion - 1 big
  • Garlic - 1
  • Curry leaves - few
  • Coriander
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt for taste
  • Oil - 4 tsp


Method

  • Boil the potato and keep aside. After sometime, remove the outer skin and cut the potato.
  • In Kadai, add 2 tsp of oil, mustard seeds, urud dhall, onion, garlic and curry leaves.
  • When the onion becomes, golden brown, add the potato, rest of the oil and the above mentioned powders and salt.
  • Saute well until the oil comes out.
  • Now Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot. 

Omlette


Ingredients

Egg
Onion
Green chillies
Pepper powder
curry leaves
coriander
salt for taste
oil

Method

Mix all the ingredients expect oil and beat nicely.
In dosa tawa, pour oil and pour the mixture into the tawa and cook as dosa and serve hot.

Thayir Pachadi


Ingredients

Curd / Yogurt  - 2 cup
Onion - 1 (nicely chopped)
Carrot - 1 (chopped nicely)
Coriander - for garnishing
Salt - for taste
Sugar - very litte (optional)

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and serve with any pulav's, briyani's, chapatthi etc....
